Certificate IV in English for Academic Purposes 91123NSW

Students may achieve the Australian Qualifications Framework [AQF] 91123NSW Certificate IV in English for Academic Purposes by completing seven modules with Gateways. The Gateways modules required for this course are listed below in column A. Column B lists the equivalent module which is part of the accredited course for the 91123NSW Certificate IV in English for Academic Purposes.

Upon successful completion of the Gateways modules listed in column A, students will receive a Statement of Attainment verifying completion of the Gateways and the Certificate IV course requirements. Successful completion of all of the Gateways modules listed in column A will result in the award of the 91123NSW Certificate IV in English for Academic Purposes.

Listening for Academic Purposes		Listening in Academic Contexts (NSW 4907C)
Speaking for Academic Purposes		Seminar Presentation Skills (NSW 4907A) Tutorial Discussion Skills (NSW 4907B)

It is not necessary to take the Gateways modules in the order listed. When you begin studying with Gateways, your tutor can suggest a recommended order for taking the modules. Your tutor's recommendations will be based on your Language Placement Test results. It is also possible to take several modules concurrently.
